United Way Workplace Campaign HQ

Each fall, United Way of Greater St. Louis conducts its annual community campaign to raise critical support for local safety-net partners, programs, and initiatives across the region. Alongside the thousands of individual donors who contribute each year, more than 1,100 local companies participate through workplace campaigns. At the heart of each campaign is an Employee Campaign Coordinator (ECC)—a dedicated employee or leader who helps educate and inspire coworkers, build excitement, and encourage participation to help their company achieve its fundraising goals and strengthen our community.

As an ECC, your commitment to the campaign makes our community stronger and creates a lasting impact. To support you every step of the way, we’ve created Campaign HQ—your one-stop guide for running an easy, engaging, and successful campaign. Below, you’ll find everything you need to confidently plan, promote, and manage your efforts.

✓ First Quarter Campaign Recap & Planning Meeting

Schedule a Campaign Recap meeting with your United Way Campaign Relationship Manager to reflect on your prior campaign, discuss what worked well and address opportunities. Work with your Campaign Relationship Manager to turn those insights into an action plan for the year ahead, helping you strengthen engagement and prepare for your next campaign.

✓ Year-Round Engagement Planning

Campaign success is built through the year, not just during the campaign season. Four intentional touchpoints help employees move from awareness to engagement, inspire meaningful action, and build momentum for a stronger campaign.
