Meet United Way’s Brand Ambassadors

At United Way, our community's support is so important to the work we do in the Greater St. Louis region. That's why we are excited to announce our United Way Brand Ambassadors!

This group of individuals is passionate for the area they live and work in, and they want to empower others to get involved and give back. Read their bios and follow the journey by connecting with them on social media.

Meet our ambassadors

STL From Above

Justin Barr runs STL From Above, an account dedicated to showing St. Louis from a different perspective – from the sky. With the help of a drone, his posts show places around the area that you've probably only seen from the ground and his captions share the story behind the picture.

Justina Coronel

Justina Coronel is a reporter at KSDK News in St. Louis, who is passionate about getting involved in her community. Whether it's attending fundraisers (virtual or in-person), reporting on local news or volunteering on her days off, she hopes to make a difference off and on the reporter field.

Daphne Dayoan

Daphne Dayoan immigrated to St. Louis from the Philippines in the early 2000s. Since moving to St. Louis, she has become enamored with the City's people and culture. Daphne models fashion and trends, and she is passionate about finding ways she can support local businesses. Daphne desires for all St. Louisans to be involved in their community, and she advocates that every bit of support helps create positive change within our society.

Dasha Kennedy

Dasha Kennedy, Financial Advocate and Personal Finance Coach, created The Broke Black Girl, a digital community that provides financial literacy resources to 67,000+ women of color and local disenfranchised communities. Dasha’s mission is to create a safe space for women to seek effective financial literacy and bridge the racial and gender wealth gap by raising awareness of the economic disparities that impact black women.

Andrew Mahtani

Andrew Mahtani is a licensed clinical social worker who has a deep love for his hometown - frequently operating under the pseudonym, Mr. Saint Louis. Andrew wants to help individuals in both micro and macro-level environments. He is a strong advocate of using social media to raise awareness about human rights issues, while also spreading a message of positivity, social responsibility, and general community well-being.
