For more than a century United Way of Greater St. Louis has worked to address the community’s most pressing challenges and make meaningful sustained differences in the lives of individuals and families.
By working together, we support a network of over 160 nonprofit agencies with vital funding and training, allowing United Way to positively impact over 1 million neighbors across 16 counties through quality education, safe and healthy homes, economic mobility, reliable transportation, physical activity, nutrition, and quality healthcare — all essential elements to overall well-being.
It takes a deep desire to help people and an ongoing commitment from individuals, corporate partners, unions, and agencies who are willing to work hand in hand to make sure our neighbors have the support they need to succeed. I’m proud to say United Way has raised over $3 billion dollars for our region. Our Community Campaign is a coordinated fundraising effort we are incredibly proud of, and it takes all of us working together, donating, and being involved to spark real lasting change.
Our collective efforts are making our region strong and resilient and we look forward to an exciting future for our community.

The Executive Committee consists of officers and at-large members elected by the Board, as well as committee chairs appointed by the Chair of the Board (who also is chair of the Executive Committee). United Way business is conducted by committees that report their recommendations to the Executive Committee of the Board.
