de Tocqueville Society

de Tocqueville Society is a distinguished circle of philanthropic leaders who contribute $10,000 or more annually to drive meaningful, measurable change across the St. Louis region. These civic-minded investors are the cornerstone of the United Way of Greater St. Louis mission—to help people live their best possible lives.

Distinction

Since its inception in 1987, the de Tocqueville Society has embodied bold vision and transformational giving. Its members provide the leadership and resources to address our region’s most pressing challenges through vital funding and support of 160 local nonprofits across Missouri and Illinois, helping over 1 million individuals annually.
