The United Way of Greater St. Louis Leadership Giving Societies is proud to expand our mentorship program to include all Leadership Givers.
Building on the success of the Women’s Leadership Society Mentorship Program, this expanded offering brings together passionate, community-minded leaders who are committed to growing personally and professionally—while making a meaningful impact across our region.
Designed by Leadership Givers, for Leadership Givers, the Mentoring Program fosters authentic connections, shared learning, and purposeful leadership development in a collaborative, supportive environment.

Mission
The Mentoring Program is a community of engaged and inspired leaders who proactively support one another in reaching personal and professional goals, fostering creativity, and creating lasting impact—both individually and collectively.

Program Overview
Participants are placed into mentoring circles—small, thoughtfully curated groups that offer space for meaningful dialogue, shared experiences, and peer-to-peer learning. Mentoring circles are grouped by gender to support open conversation and meaningful conversations.
While circles meet separately, the program remains fully connected through shared learning experiences, full-group gatherings, and a collective commitment to growing as leaders and strengthening our community.
Mentoring Circles Include:
- Mentors are leaders from both the Women’s and Men’s Leadership Societies, bringing diverse expertise across a range of disciplines.
- Small‑group mentoring circles of 3–5 mentees are intentionally matched with mentors to support personal and professional development goals.
- A time commitment of one 1–1.5‑hour meeting per month, held virtually or in person, from May through October.
- Two in-person, full‑group gatherings designed to strengthen connections across circles and provide shared learning and networking opportunities for mentors and mentees. (Dates in May and October TBD.)

Focus Areas
Mentoring circles are centered around topics that support leadership growth and life balance and may evolve based on participant interests and community needs. Current topics include:
– Networking and relationship-building
– Leadership development
– Personal growth and self-awareness
– Career navigation and transitions
– Work-life integration
– Innovation and creative problem-solving

Join a dynamic mentoring experience designed for leaders at every stage, from emerging professionals to seasoned executives. Small, curated mentoring circles foster meaningful dialogue, diverse perspectives, and impactful connections. Open to men and women. Space is limited, and applications are accepted on a first‑come, first‑served basis. Application deadline: Thursday, April 24, 2026.
