Multicultural Leadership Society

Created in 2009, the Multicultural Leadership Society engages and unites over 800 individuals from all cultures and recognizes diversity-minded professionals who value the importance of philanthropy. The Society creates a platform for these individuals to familiarize members with other key leaders in the region and prepares them for their role in serving our community.

SiSi & Santiago Beltran

"I don’t view being involved in the community as work – it’s not one more thing taking me away from home. Through United Way's Multicultural Leadership Society, we support diversity in our community and the building of a stronger community. To us, being a part of MCLS means we're able to be involved in an organization that's tied to our culture."

Krist Calicutt

"I chose the Multicultural Leadership Society because my passion is around diversity, and I felt like this Society really speaks to the diversity of the community. What better than to join a group that embraces diversity and is part of an organization that makes sure our dollars go to diverse communities here in St. Louis. This group is a natural fit for me."
