United Way of Greater St. Louis (UWGSL) lit up the Enterprise Center for an unforgettable night as they joined forces with the St. Louis Blues to celebrate the power of united impact. The action-packed United Way of Greater St. Louis Night with the Blues brought together fans, supporters, and local heroes for an evening of excitement, unity, and giving back.
The ways to give blanketed the arena from auction items, concessions and ticket sales in which proceeds went directly to UWGSL programs and initiatives that support our neighbors in need.
The event gave us several opportunities to share how important our efforts are in helping our neighbors live here and thrive.
UWGSL’s President and CEO, Michelle Tucker, joined voice of the Blues Chris Kerber live on 101.1 ESPN, while Campaign Vice Chair, SiSi Beltrán Martí, joined Andy Strickland on FanDuel Sports Network to speak to fans about UWGSL’s impact in the community and why people should support us. We also received a special shoutout on the arena’s jumbotron during the game’s intermission.
Additionally, Vice President of UWGSL’s Volunteer Center, Rick Skinner, set up an exhibit at the arena where he got a chance to talk to fans individually about UWGSL as well as hand out informational resources for them to learn more.

The entire night was a success. The collective enthusiasm from fans for the Blues and UWGSL’s campaign was palpable, and we are excited about this opportunity to garner more support from our community.
We are so appreciative of the Blues for giving us the platform to communicate our mission to help people live their best possible lives.
