United Way of Greater St. Louis (UWGSL) prides itself on being an anchor of stability and a safety net for people to catch them when they need help. We aim to be a source for our neighbors to lean on, and we are passionate about helping them get access to resources where they can live and operate their lives independently. As we celebrate Disability Pride Month, we are proud to partner with St. Louis Arc. Our funding and support help them empower people with intellectual and development disabilities to live healthy, whole lives. Their Pre-Independent Supportive Living Arrangement (Pre-ISLA) program helped Nick transition to independent living. Watch how UWGSL’s support of our safety net of nonprofits is helping our neighbors live here and thrive.
