As the holiday season approaches, we invite you to join us in the spirit of giving by supporting the United Way of Greater St. Louis (UWGSL) and our annual community campaign. Your generosity enables us to provide critical funding to over 160 local nonprofit partner agencies, addressing a wide range of needs within our community from food, clothing, and transportation to long-term support such as youth programming, education, job training, and counseling.
We are truly grateful for the contributions we’ve received so far, and hope to see even more individuals come together in this effort. At UWGSL, we are dedicated to creating a strong and healthy region for all, and your support plays an essential role in this mission.
It’s important to remember that over 40% of households in our region struggle to meet their basic needs monthly. Your support can help provide our neighbors with the resources they need to not only survive but thrive in our community.
Throughout the year, we continue to witness the transformational impact United Way’s funding and support have on people’s lives. It has empowered individuals like:
- Harper, who gained access to pediatric therapy and personalized care after facing developmental challenges.
- Quinchelle, who successfully regained custody of her child and discovered healthier parenting methods
- Nick, who is living independently and flourishing with the help of tailored support, overcoming the challenges posed by his disability.
When you choose to donate to UWGSL, you have the power to change lives, and every contribution, no matter the size, makes a meaningful difference. For instance, a monthly donation of just $5 can provide formula for one infant for an entire month. A one-time gift of $25 can supply 100 meals to children, families, and seniors. An annual gift of $500 can fund 10 hours of employment training or job coaching for those seeking better opportunities.
Together, we can build a strong foundation for our region today and for future generations. We are more than just a fundraising campaign—we are a movement, united in a common purpose.
Unite with us and help people live their best possible lives!
