United Way works to build a robust, safe Greater St. Louis community that enhances the lives of our neighbors and provides them with the tools they need to thrive. Community building was identified as a priority need in three counties across the region.
Floods, tornadoes, earthquakes and other natural and man-made disasters have long-lasting consequences – even multi-generational impacts – on the Greater St. Louis region. United Way 2-1-1 plays a central role in helping communities and individuals recover from disaster, including government coordination and volunteer recruitment to call center activities, neighborhood outreach, and more.
